CENTAMAX 18000 NR Elastic Element – Type SCE | OEM Coupling for Large Engines and Gensets
The CENTAMAX 18000 NR Type SCE is a torsionally soft coupling element designed for the heaviest-duty applications, including large CAT® , Deutz, MAN, MWM, Wartsilla engines in marine gensets, gas generators, heavy equipment, and locomotives.
Made from premium natural rubber (NR), this elastic element provides extreme torque capacity, reliable vibration damping, and long service life under continuous load and high-stress conditions.
Unlike the SC version, the SCE type features threaded fitment holes in the element itself, allowing bolts to be inserted from the hub side and tightened directly into the elastic element. This mounting method is required in many OEM configurations for large engines and generators.
