The initial size reduction takes place directly in the 450-litre hopper. The machine features a specialised worm with an extended profile and relief grinding windings, cutting off approximately 8 cm of the frozen meat block per rotation. The material is then seamlessly carried to the 300 mm cutting set. To provide full control over the process, the machine features a two-speed drive. The first speed handles deep-frozen blocks and small grinding plates, while the second speed accelerates reduction when using larger grinding plates.
